The Art of Storytelling and Illustration for Teens
J.L. Kimmel (American author/artist ) and David Ceccarelli ( Italian, illustrator and author) as they share the story of the creative process of writing and illustrating their award winning book, The Yawning Rabbit River Chronicle, a VOYA Perfect Ten title and Silver Nautilus award winner in YA Fiction. David Ceccarelli teaches the participants how to illustrate a character from the book, J.L. Kimmel will read an excerpt and play and original music written for the book. David delights the children with his whimsical music played on his Penny whistle. Location: Downstairs Basement-Annex
