The following exhibits will be on view at the Main Library from Friday, November 2 
through Tuesday, December 4, 2012:
 
Gellman Room & Dooley Hall--"Return to Normandy"--D-Day beaches as they appear today and what remains of the German bunkers along the Normandy coastline by Richmonder photographer Allen Jones
 
Dooley Foyer--"The Great War 1914-1918"--books, maps, and artifacts from the collection of Mathews County curator Elena Siddall
 
2nd Floor Gallery--"Contemporary Fishing Lures and Decoys"--hand-carved and brush-painted wooden fish decoys and fishing lures by Bill Grossman
 
David Freed Gallery--the library's permanent collection of prints of renowned authors by David Freed
 
Newbold Perkins Gallery--paintings by Anne Newbold Perkins, Richmond artist and former Richmond Public Library artist
 
First Friday, a monthly opening-night reception for all the artists of the library's exhibit areas, will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 6:30--9pm.
