Grand Finale @ Main: Have fun celebrating the end of our Summer Reading Program with activities, stories, crafts, music, and fun from 10 am to 1 pm!


Saturday, August 10

10:30 am-1 pm– Children’s Museum of Richmond: Create a summertime craft

10:30 am-1 pm– Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden: "Dig into" a project

10:30-11:45 am– Storytelling Theatre with the RPL Storytelling Stars

11 am-12:30 pm– Magic with Mr. B: Mr. B entertains with magic and ballooon sculptures

12 noon – Recognition & Winners: Top elementary school readers receive medals and the Washington Redskins contest winners announced

10 am-1 pm – DJ Jamie arrives with music and street games begin


Ongoing activities include:

·         Community Partners share information and give-aways

·         Classic and retro video games for teens

·         Door prizes and sno-cones

·         Obstacle course and street games

·         Music and more
