Superintendent's 2010 Suggested Summer Reading
Summer is a great time to read for pleasure. In an effort to promote summer reading, Richmond Public Schools students are encouraged to read as many books as they would like from the Superintendent's lists. In order to receive the Richmond Public Schools' summer reading prize in September, students are required to read a set number of books during summer vacation.
Visit your nearest Richmond Public Library to find books on the reading lists. While you are there, don't forget to join the Library's Summer Reading Program ongoing through August 7. It's fun for everyone with activities, events and prizes... and everything's free! |
