Foundation Center

The Foundation Center is an organization dedicated to strengthen the nonprofit sector by advancing knowledge about U.S. philanthropy. The Center maintains the most comprehensive database on U.S. grantmakers and their grants.  Richmond Public Library is a Cooperating Collection. Cooperating Collections are free funding information centers in libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit resource centers that provide a core collection of Foundation Center publications and a variety of supplementary materials and services in areas useful to grantseekers.

The Foundation Center houses both print and electronic resources that are available for public use during the Main Library's regular hours. The resources are available on a walk-in basis, or you may call ahead to schedule an information session with a librarian.

For more information, contact General Collections at 646-7223.
